Hours & Details
Quick Details:
Wood-fired brick oven food trailer with indoor/outdoor seating and bar available.
Tuesday through Saturday, 3 pm to last call for orders at 7:30 pm, unless we sell out sooner.
Eepa’s is a small, family-owned place with limited staffing. There may be additional days we close which will be updated on our website and phones.
We’re known for our personal size 10” wood fired pizzas made on our traditional house crust (gluten free and dairy free options available too). We have many specialty pizzas and you can always choose your own from toppings from our Build Your Own list.
Yep, we also have sandwiches, salads, beer, 16” take and bakes (limited supply), and random special items when we can, including rotating specials.
We prefer good food over fast food, so if there’s a wait, order a delicious drink, hang out, and relax… it’s worth it.
If you’re curious… here’s the details:
What in the world is this place? Eepa’s is a wood-fired brick oven food trailer growing to include indoor and patio seating available with a limited bar. And nope, Eepa is not a person. It’s what our kid called pizza when he was little, and it was so adorable, we named our place after it.
Timing: We prioritize good food over fast food! Our menu is made fresh, by hand, and baked on bricks by the fire. During off-peak hours, standard orders are typically ready within 7 to 10 minutes. During peak hours, wait times may be over one hour. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings are typically the longest wait time and we may receive more phone calls than we can keep up with, please be patient with staff as they assist other customers.
Even if you don’t see a full house, we typically have many pick-up and online orders scheduled. Being a food truck cooking pizza on a brick by a fire (no thermostat dials or conveyor belts here), our chef is at the mercy of limited space, varying temperatures, and conditions, so please be patient while we ensure your food is delicious. We will always do our best to provide an estimated time of pick up but it is not a guarantee. If you’re concerned about wait-times, please call ahead for current wait times (which may change quickly), otherwise, we highly recommend ordering a delicious drink while relaxing on the patio.
Large Groups: If you are needing an order for a large group scheduled to be picked up, please contact us at least two days in advance so we can prepare dedicated dough batches and plan for it. For large dine-in groups, please call ahead. We have very limited seating and may not be able to accommodate a large group during peak hours.
Reservations: We do NOT offer reservations.
Requested Pick Up Times: We do not provide requests for pre-order pick ups more than one hour prior to requested pick up times during peak times. On expected slower evenings, we will do our best to accommodate. We do not guarantee requested pick up times.
Dine in: We do not provide call-ahead dine-in orders. All call ahead orders will be treated as a to-go order and seating will not be offered. We have limited seating saved for walk-ins. Staff will direct customers to an available table and staff will provide table service. Customers will be served first come, first served, no exceptions. Thanks for your understanding!
Gift Cards: Digital Gift Cards are available on this website (please see link above). Once payment is complete, a code will be provided. Digital gift cards can be emailed directly to the recipient or emailed to yourself to print and deliver. Balance can also be checked through the link above. Gift Cards may also be purchased on site at which time staff will provide a card with an associated digital code in the same manner as online gift certificates.
Top Quality: We prioritize top quality ingredients. Our traditional crust is hand-made, in-house, daily, then completes a two day ferment. You won’t find frozen pizza dough here, which also means, there’s a possibility we may sell out before the end of the night. This dough is made using flour imported from Italy which contains no additives, artificial enzymes, or glyphosates (herbicides). Our mozzarella is deli quality, emphasizing a premium quality cheese made in an old-world manner. Our other menu items feature additional preservative-free meats and cheeses in addition to Grande cheeses focused on small dairy farms emphasizing healthy cows to produce top quality, 100% naturally produced cheeses. Then there’s some random, non-cardiologist approved deliciousness, completely worth indulging into including our unique and popular pepperoni eggrolls, boneless wings, and fiesta jalapeno poppers. Due to the current economy, we may be limited on which ingredients and supplies we can access which may impact availability, but we will always do our best to maintain quality.
Allergens/Celiac/Gluten Free Preference: We offer a 10” pizza option in our standard gluten free (rice based and also dairy free) or gluten cauliflower (delicious but does contain egg and dairy). All gluten free orders will be made using gluten free utensils and a specific zone in the oven. Our staff do a wonderful job of avoiding gluten contamination and have had positive feedback for customers with celiac needs, however, due to the nature of a pizzeria, we cannot guarantee zero contamination. For severe celiac and allergy needs, we recommend considering other options. For all other allergens, please notify staff prior to ordering so they can request management assistance to ensure allergen procedures can be used, however, due to the nature of a small pizzeria shop, we may not be able to accommodate all allergen requests and may recommend considering other options. For those with severe dislikes of certain foods, you’re welcome to notify us so we can take extra precautions, but please do not report “dislikes” as “allergens” to best assist staff in making proper recommendations and procedures.
Keep it local! When possible, we prefer to offer local products! We love utilizing local farms. We offer Zuberfizz sodas on tap, Desert Sun Coffee and espresso, a wide selection of Colorado beers including several options from Durango’s Ska Brewery, Peach Street Distillery, Riff Raff Brewing, Steamworks, Talbott’s Cider, Wines of the San Juan, and Colterris Wine.
Cocktails: We currently offer a limited cocktail menu and plan to expand the bar in the near future. We don’t want to pay liquor fines and we love complimenting how young you look, so please have your ID ready. Try our fresh-squeezed margaritas or Danny’s Whiskey Sour!
To-Go Booze: Yes! We do offer to-go beer and cocktails with food orders. All to-go alcohol must be sealed and sold at no more than the state required limited amounts. All alcohol must remain sealed during transit and purchasers are subject to all state and local laws prohibiting drinking or possessing open containers of alcoholic beverages in motor vehicles.
Dogs!!! Yes! We love pooches of all sizes! We jumped the hoops and have been approved by the health department to allow dogs on the patio! (Sorry, only certified service dogs allowed indoors, which does not include ESAs). In order to keep this privilege, please keep dogs on a leash, not on any furniture or accessing dishes, and let us know of any messes. Staff have the right to ask that a pet be removed for any reason including barking. Staff are also not allowed to pet your furry friend (although we would love to). We have water bowls specific for pets so feel free to ask. Pet owners assume full responsibility for their pets.
Gratuity: If you loved your meal, you can’t kiss the cook, but tips are greatly appreciated and will be distributed among all service staff on duty. To-go orders of six entrees or more and/or dine-in of 6 or more (including split checks), and orders of $60 may be subject to a 15% gratuity fee which will be distributed to staff.
How was your experience?: Please feel free to leave us a review on Google or Facebook! (Sorry, we ignore Yelp because they spam us and relentlessly call during business hours, tying up our phones, delaying your calls, ask us to encourage customers to use their page, then complain we said this on our website… sorry yelp, but the industry is not your fan, please knock it off, we know you’re reading this). If you have any questions, concerns, comments, or need to speak with management regarding services or requesting donations, please email us directly at eepaspizzeria@gmail.com. We hope you loved your experience with us!
